The Casino Slot EV Calculator Database As we have seen, it is vital that you can compare RTPs and risk levels on the slots you are considering. There is a lot of information to be taken into account. This means that you need to use a comprehensive slot calculator database to do it for you.
The Quick Crunch casino bonus calculator runs thousands of simulations on any casino bonus to calculate the expected value of any casino bonus. Enter the figures and we’ll tell you the true value of the offer as well as the percentage chance of busting out. You can enter different bonus types, house edge and variance of games to work out how to play each offer for maximum value.
Bonus Types
Cashable Bonus - A cashable bonus means that once you have completed the wagering you can withdraw the bonus as cash. Typically once you have fulfilled the wagering requirements the bonus will be combined with your existing balance and you will be able to withdraw all funds.
Sticky Bonus - A sticky bonus is non withdrawable and can be used for wagering purposes only. For example if you get a 100% sticky bonus and you deposit £10, you will have £20 to play with. Once you have finished wagering, you will be able to withdraw your balance minus the £10 sticky bonus.
Refund Bonus - A refund bonus is fairly self explanatory. You deposit using your own funds and if you lose you will receive a refund up to a certain amount. An example may be, deposit £10, get a £10 refund if you lose.
Post Wager Bonus - A post wager bonus is applied to your account after you have completed a certain amount of wagering. For example Deposit £10 and get a £10 bonus after you have wagered £100.
Free Spins - Free spins bonuses are exactly what they say they are. You receive a number of free spins. For the purposes of the Quick Crunch these are free spins that are awarded without requiring a deposit and wagering of an initial balance.
Attributes
Deposit Amount - Enter the amount that you are looking to deposit in this box.
Bonus Amount - Enter your bonus amount in this box. Remember that your bonus will probably vary depending on how much you deposit.
Wagering - Enter the amount of wagering that you must complete to finish the offer. For example if you receive a bonus that must be wagered X10, that would require £100 of wagering before you can withdraw.
Target - With sticky bonus and refund bonuses, enter a target value that you hope to get to whilst playing the offer. The higher the number the greater the chance of busting out.
Max Cashback - Enter the maximum available from cashback on a refund offer in this box.
Free Spins - For Free Spins offers, enter the number of free spins that you will receive in this box.
Max Winnings - Some bonuses only allow you to withdraw a certain amount when completing the offer. If there is a maximum winning amount allowed, enter the value here.
Wager Winnings - With refund bonuses, sometimes the bonus must be wagered before you can withdraw. If the refund bonus needs to be wagered, entered the value of wagering that needs to be completed before you can withdraw it.
Bet Size - To work out the expected value and bust out percentage, you can alter the bet size. Usually the higher the bet size, the higher the bust out rate but the higher the EV (expected value) of the offer.
House Edge - Enter the house edge of the game you are looking to play here. Remember that this is the opposite value to the RTP (return to player), so if a game has an RTP of 95%, the house edge will be 5%. All games need to show the house edge, although it can be tricky to find sometimes.
Variance - The variance relates to the frequency of payouts and their value. Low variance slots pay out smaller winnings more frequently, whilst high variance slots pay out larger wins less frequently.
Type - Enter the game type that you are looking to play here. You can choose from slots, blackjack and roulette.

The Fields
Deposit AmountHow much you transfer from your credit/debit card to the casino. Put a whole number in this field (no pennies please!)
Free Money AmountHow much ‘free’ money the casino is willing to give you before you make a deposit. Usually these range from £5 to £20 on average.
Percentage Deposit Bonus (%)How much of a percentage the casino is offering to increase your deposit by. So the offer usually looks like 50% up to £100. Type in ‘50’ in this field, in this case.
Wagering RequirementsThe amount of times the casinos wants you to play the money before you can withdraw. These can either be on the bonus alone, the bonus and the amount you deposit or, on the case of free money, the bonus and how much you win using that bonus. Be especially careful of that last one – it’s a killer offer, and we don’t mean in a good way.
Some bonuses will not have wagering requirements. We don’t look at these, as these will simply be ‘sticky’ bonus – ie. you won’t be able to withdraw them. If you have an AMAZING casino, they will let you keep any winnings but keep the bonus money, or, more likely put wagering requirements on your winnings only. If the second case, treat this as free money with wagering.
Estimated WinningsYou can never know for sure how much it will be. If you have £5 Free no deposit bonus, your chances of winning more than a hundred is pretty slim. Still, many casinos try and avoid allowing you to walk away without depositing, but putting wagering stipulations not just on free money, but winnings too. This is the worse kind of offer in our book and we’ve put this field in to prove our point. Go on. Put £5 in with winning of £100 at 30x (pretty low) wagering. Have a look at those odds and tell us whether you should take that offer or not.
Game Contribution Percentage (%)We’ve left this field optional for two reasons. One, not many people know how this works and two, we are a review slots site and slot games generally contribute 100% towards your wagering requirements.
So what is this? Basically casinos calculate the amount of skill different games would require in order to play through the game wagering requirements. Slots for examples, are, by and large, games of pure chance. You click spin and wait until you see if Lady luck is on your side. Blackjack and roulette (if played well) has enough strategy behind it that there is a risk the player could, with safe and/or skilled bets based on knowledge of the game, beat the house. It’s not quite poker mind you, but it does require a little skill.
As such you’ll usually find in the terms and conditions of the bonuses information like:
- Slot Games: 100% (contribution to bonus)
- Instant Win Games: 50% (contribution to bonus)
- Table Games: 10% (contribution to bonus)
What they are saying here is that if you bet £1 on slots. That £1 is worth £1 worth of bets towards your wagering obligation. If you play an Instant Win Game that £1 is worth 50%, so only 50p, towards fulfilling your wagering requirements. Table Games are only worth 10% of £1, so 10p, towards being able to get your money out.
We’ve added this field, because as much as we love playing slots and mobile slots especially, sometimes we like a little blackjack, video poker and baccarats too. So if you were thinking of spending that £5 free on blackjack… well good luck to you and let us give you the odds in our calculator. Ultimately, if you mix and match your games, good casino sites should be able to tell you how much of your wagering requirements you still have to fulfil before you have to take your money out.
The Results
Free Bonus MoneyThis is how much the casino is giving you to play on top of your deposit. We’ve left this here so of the percentage amount is random (134% or 27%) you can easily see the value of the offer.
Total Play MoneyThis is how much you’ll have at the casino, in total, to play with. So it’s basically the free bonus money and your deposit.
Amount You Need to BetThe whole point of this calculator. This is the amount of bets, in numerical form, you’ll have to make in order to cash out your winnings and your bonus.
We hope this calculator is of some use to help you decide how and what casino bonus to take.
Use our wagering requirements calculator wisely and you could just be enjoying some hassle free spinning.
Have fun! And don’t forget to check out or recommended casino bonuses on at our favourite sites.
